Lioba Berndt tells us more about her choice to study in London, her experience of living abroad and her favourite activities in her free time.

In my first blog post I want to take you through my journey of arriving in London, settling in and my first study experiences in London.

It is finally my favourite time of the year: Christmas Time. Since starting my Master´s degree in London, I had been looking forward to the Christmas season here.

Languages combine us. They lay the foundation for understanding different backgrounds, cultures and unique personality traits.

The second term has just started in the beginning of January. The program consists of three terms in total.

I remember hearing 'boys are just better at maths', I internalized the idea that science was something I couldn't succeed at. That all changed the more I spoke to female students & teachers

Living in a different city, being exposed to new people, different cultures and a foreign work and study environment, has had a huge impact on my life..

It finally feels like summer. The parks are getting more crowded, and it feels like everyone living in London is trying to get as much sun as possible. It is simply beautiful!

This past year has been a testament to the power of education, exploration, and the global connections we can build when we follow our passions.
