ilb offers contemporary political issues and scientific discourse as well as trends in the literary scene with all its forms, temperaments, and styles; from mainstream to niche.
The 22nd ilb includes specials like ilbDIGITAL, International Children’s and Young Adult Literature, and the 12th Graphic Novel Day.
The UK authors attending ilb this year are Zadie Smith, Bernardine Evaristo, Maxim Edwards, Boris Akunin, Sam Thompson, Lea Ypi, Jay Bernard, Hana Tooke, Laura Carlin, Abdulrazak Gurnah and Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi.
