21 November: Jenni Fagen is reading from 'The Panopticon'
Anais Hendricks, fifteen, is in the back of a police car. She is headed for the Panopticon, a home for chronic young offenders. She can't remember what’s happened, but across town a policewoman lies in a coma and Anais’s school uniform is covered in blood.
The Panopticon is Jenni Fagan's debut novel. The author was born in Livingston, Scotland. She has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize, was shortlisted for the Dundee International Book Prize, and was named one of Granta's Best of Young British Novelists in 2013.

26 November: Jasper Fforde is reading from 'Something Rotten'
Something Rotten is the fourth book in the Thursday Next series by Jasper Fforde. Two years after Thursday Next's Ultraword adventure, the now ex-head of Jurisfiction returns home accompanied by a toddler, a pair of dodos, and Hamlet, eager to learn a little bit about conflict resolution. But the Swindon to which Thursday returns is not the one she left - for something is rotten in the state of England.
Jasper Fforde was born in 1961 and spent his early career in the film industry. He is the author of several novels, which cross over genres, and are a mixture of fantasy, crime thriller, and humorous fiction. They are noted for their literary allusions, wordplay and tight plots.
