The Royal Society is the independent scientific academy of the UK and a longstanding partner of the British Council for promoting excellence in science. 

The summer science programme is a week of celebration of cutting-edge and historic science, all to enjoy at home. Featuring live and pre-recorded talks and videos the programme includes a variety of topics. There is something for all ages and interests: from a family friendly quiz evening, the science of pets, field trips through Antarctica, insights to the live and works of famous scientists to exploring exotic planets.
