Hari Kunzru
Hari Kunzru is author of the novels 'The Impressionist', 'Transmission', 'My Revolutions' and 'Gods Without Men'. In 2003, he was named by Granta magazine as one of twenty 'Best of Young British Novelists'. From 2005-2013 he was the deputy president of English PEN. His prose essay on his experiences of the music of New York, 'Twice Upon A Time: Listening to New York', was published by Atavist Books in 2014. His work 'White Tears' will be published in 2017.

From 26 to 28 January Hari Kunzru will participate in the British Council Literature Seminar 2017 on the theme of 'Diverse Voices, New Directions'. His public reading is part of the seminar that will bring together an impressive group of contemporary British writers over three days in January for a mixture of readings, discussions and workshops. Participants can engage with writers, including this year's Bachmann prize winner Sharon Dodua Otoo, Nikesh Shukla and Irenosen Okojie, and experience their work at first hand.
