School closures and the shift to remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic are having a negative impact on vulnerable communities by compounding inequalities that already exist. This webinar aims to support teachers by looking at the barriers in remote learning, and suggesting practical ideas to promote inclusion and increase access and engagement for all learners.

Join our two experienced speakers: Hafiz Furqan Bashir who is a graduate of SZABIST in project management, and currently heads Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for the British Council in the Middle East and North Africa. He has 12 years experience in the development sector with a major focus on gender equality, education for children and creating opportunities for the disabled. Joanne Newton who has an EFL background and has spent many years working as a teacher educator/trainer/facilitator, and in recent years has moved into Programme Management.
