Performance: The Way You Look (At Me) Tonight

As part of Sommertanz 2015/Open Spaces#2

How do we look at each other? How do we allow ourselves to be seen? How do our physicalities shape how we perceive the world around us? How much can we affect the way we see others? Can we learn to see across lines of difference in new ways? US and Berlin based choreographer and performance artist Jess Curtis and UK self-identifying disabled artist Claire Cunningham will show early stage research for a new full-evening duet; The Way You Look (at me) Tonight, developed in collaboration with US acclaimed philosopher of perception and author Dr. Alva Noë.
